Filming was originally shut down in March with roughly 20% of the film being available. This didn’t stop director Matt Reeves from fanning the fandom flames with the release of a teaser trailer for the film at DC’s first ever virtual event DC Fandome.

Robert Pattinson plays Bruce Wayne aka The Batman in the film which also stars Zoe Kravitz, Jeffrey Wright, Paul Dano, Colin Farrell, John Turturro and Andy Serkis.

The Batman is scheduled to be released in theaters October 1, 2021.
