As everyone, including his son, doubts his resolve, Kraven has a plan for both the hunters and the hunted. He just needs to keep control long enough for his plan to go into action.

Black Ant is trying to explain to Spider-Man what Kraven has in mind for everyone playing this game. At the same time, Taskmaster has snuck Lizard under the dome in order to look for his son Billy. Black Cat has escaped her cage with the boy and they are making their way through the park trying to avoid detection.

Incensed that his father will not act, Kraven Jr goes after Lizard himself and confronts him. Unfortunately for Lizard, the inhibitor chip he installed in himself will not let him fight and Kraven Jr decides to use that to his advantage. One of the hunters manages to injure Felicia, but he pulls back when he confronts Billy. Not wanting to kill a kid, the hunter tries to get out of the machine, but finds it impossible.

When a swarm of inmates confronts the man trying to get out of the VR harness connecting him to the robot, they attack and the most sinister part of Kraven’s plan comes to light. Spider-Man decides to confront the hunter once and for all, but he’s going to have to get past an army of Vermin first.

Spencer finally unveils the twist I’ve been waiting for in this storyline. It’s a great plot addition and adds more drama to this issue. I like the way Kraven is portrayed in this issue and the quiet rage he is exhibiting is creepy and cool.

Humberto Ramos’ art is beautiful and full of both detail and energy.
