The Rundown: The hunt for a murderer will lead to a shocking discovery.

Supergirl and her companion find themselves in the town of Maypole continuing their pursuit of Krem. After discovering that the criminal had been held in the town, Kara asks questions only to get brushed off by the local police force. When the two of them check into a hotel, Kara has more questions. Questions that get a rude response. Feeling that something is wrong in the town, Kara and Ruthye find themselves the targets of an assassin.

In the aftermath, Kara wants answers about what happened to Krem and why there seems to be a secret the town is keeping. What she discovers is a shocking and disturbing secret that everyone in the town is willing to kill to protect.

The Story: This was a powerful and beautifully told story. King does a brilliant job of laying out the mystery while exploring Kara and Ruthye as characters. The story is powerful with some great elements throughout that kept me riveted with each page. I continue to be impressed with this series and cannot wait to see where this adventure goes next.

The Art: Evely delivers some beautiful art throughout the issue. The visuals are compelling and engaging and the style is brilliant.
