The Rundown: Keeve Trennis goes off to find her friend as the darkness within one of their own grows.

The Jedi have tracked Ceret’s last known location on Sedri Minor, but they will find obstacles in their way while trying to rescue him. The first being that Master Sskeer is experiencing a wave of dark emotions after slaughtering a Nihil attacker. The second being the rash of disappearances happening from the local village and the speaker for the residents being unwilling to help the Jedi in their investigation.

Keeve decides to go investigate and find Ceret. With the help of a local, she discovers a location bathed in the energy of the dark side of the force. A location that not only holds her missing colleague, but also an ancient evil that is affecting not only her, but Jedi twins as well. Affecting them in a way that will bring out the darkness in one of their own.

The Story: Cavan Scott delivers a solid story filled with action, adventure, mystery and thrills. I enjoyed that the characters have more to deal with than just external threats and how the antagonists are able to affect the Jedi and their actions. Scott is creating characters with depth and dimension and I am interested in seeing what happens next.

The Art: Ario Anindito delivers some impressive and beautifully detailed art throughout the issue. There are some great visual moments and many of the panels are perfectly staged.
