The third season of Star Trek: Discovery has begun on CBS All Access, but it looks like the crew of the Discovery will be continuing their mission for another season.

A day after its third season launch, CBS All Access renewed the series for a fourth season. Alex Kurtzman and Michelle Paradise will continue to serve as co-showrunners for the fourth season.

Discovery has been the flagship of the return of Star Trek to the small screen and has spawned not only the return of Patrick Stewart’s return to Trek for his own series Picard, but also the animated series Lower Decks and the upcoming Discovery spin-off Strange New Worlds which will see the adventures of the Enterprise under Captain Pike.
