The Rundown: Susan returns to San Francisco to help Hellboy bring down a dangerous entity.

After getting a vision, Susan goes to San Francisco to locate and help Hellboy. After finding him and his partner being attacked by a small army of vampires and a giant demon, Susan is given the broken knife that help the creatures.

When she puts the pieces back together, she is transported back in time to a story from her own past with an uncle who was a servant of the golden crane and how he is from a long line of warriors tasked by the entity to find and bind evil. As she discovers her destiny, Susan joins the battle to stop the creatures once and for all.

The Story: Roberson brings this story to a thrilling, entertaining conclusion. The story has some fantastic moments with Susan discovering the truth of her own past as well as the mission of the Golden Crane. There is great action throughout the story and everything comes to a thrilling conclusion that makes me appreciate the expanded world of Hellboy and his allies.

The Art: Oeming delivers beautifully detailed art throughout the issue. I love the visuals and the action on every page. A beautiful looking book from start to finish.
