The Rundown: Sue searches for a cursed artifact connected to three powerful members of the Golden Crane.

Sue continues her investigation in Seatlle after Victor travels to California to backup Hellboy. As she speaks to a shop owner who is dealing with a destructive entity, she discovers what is causing the issue. When she touches the item, she is transported back in time to witness a trio of women warriors of the Golden Crane investigating a threat to the first female emperor.
After discovering the truth about what is haunting the area, the warriors find themselves taking on dark forces who want to new leader gone. As Sue discovers how to stop the entity in the present, her fight will lead her back to Hellboy.
The Story: Roberson crafts a thrilling, entertaining adventure in this issue. The story continues to craft a great world for the character as well as wonderfully connect to Hellboy. I like seeing the character learn more about the Golden Crane and how those experiences shape Sue as a character.
The Art: Michael Avon Oeming delivers beautifully detailed and visually compelling art throughout the issue.
