Deron GenerallyMarvel Studios has added a new cast member to the upcoming Loki series on Disney Plus.
According to Variety and Collider, actor Richard E Grant has been cast in the upcoming Loki series in an undisclosed role. Grant is known for his roles on films like The Iron Lady, Bram Stoker’s Dracula and more recently Logan and a starring role in Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker.
According to the trades, Grant will only be appearing in one episode of the series, but his role is said to be significant. While his role is currently undisclosed, with Loki magically traveling across the multiverse and the series connecting to the upcoming Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness film, could Richard E Grant’s role bridge the gap between the series and the movie and if so, who could possibly do that?
Personally, I would love for Grant to pop up as the new big bad for the magical side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and play the ultimate mystical Marvel bad guy Mephisto.
