The Rundown: The party reaches the destination of the first part of their mission and securing what they came for will not be a quiet prospect.
As they reach the city where the first part of their mission will begin, Marris tasks them with infiltrating the city to procure both the paperwork they need and another item of importance. Styrian and Mahan are tasked with entering the city and removing the head of an Escalene security officer while Rekala makes her way into the fort to get the paperwork they need to enter the Anvil.
As the team makes their way into the city, the one member who stays behind is confronted by the wizard and shown what will happen if they fail. Mahan confronts the intelligence officer as Rekala cuts a path of death in service to her mission. At the same time, Styrian has his own plans.
The Story: I enjoyed this issue a lot. The story was well told and engaging. The characters are all interesting in their own ways and I really loved both how the action unfolded and how the issue ended. Justin Jordan has created a fun and engaging world with this story and I can’t wait to see what happens next after the explosive conclusion of this issue.
The Art: Rebekah Isaacs delivers some impressive and beautiful art throughout this issue. Everything from the characters to the backgrounds looks amazing.
