The Rundown: The Radiants face an unknown adversary bent on their deaths.

Marshall and the other Radiants find themselves facing off against an unknown villain. The four of them must put aside their differences and fight together if they want to survive, but that is easier said than done. Their foe is impressive both in power and prowess and the only way the quartet can survive is by Pink teleporting them out of the area.

The four arrive in Tokyo and after some bickering, Marshall decides to fly them out of the area. When the mystery villain attacks again, the group is separated with Marshall an Pink winding up in the middle of an interstellar war and the others landing in the middle of nowhere.

The Story: The story gets a lot more intense and exciting in this issue. Higgins ramps up the story with action and adventure while also introducing some new elements that make the story intriguing as a reader. The interpersonal stories are also interesting as well and I am interested in seeing how these different and diverse people can stand together. I like how this issue progressed and was impressed with the cliffhanger ending and its implications.

The Art: Costa does some great work with the art in this issue. The style is perfect for this type of story and the action is fun, exciting and big.
