The Rundown: Weaver is given a dangerous choice when the men looking for the egg go after his family.

When Weaver disappears with the egg, the forces coming for it decide that the best way to draw him out is to use his daughter. After taking the girl, they contact Weaver and give him the parameters to getting his little girl Theresa back. Weaver meets with Harold to tell him what happened on the other side as the mercenaries arrive and Harold is the only one allowed to go out and meet them.
Weaver discovers that the egg will not let him leave and he pleads with the being within it to allow him to help save his daughter. When the mercenary leader tries to kill Harold, Weaver emerges with a new and dangerous power.
The Story: Lemire ramps up the tension throughout this issue. The story has some great moments of suspense and I loved how Weaver and Harold come to an understanding as events and revelations continue to unfold. The story takes a huge narrative swing towards the end of the issue and sets up an interesting and thrilling conclusion to this arc.
The Art: Walta delivers fantastic art throughout this issue. I love the beautifully detailed panels and how the final few pages capture and elevate the suspense of the story.
