Peter Parker is not taking a world where his older self, a half-sister he’s never met and his future boss are all living next door and dragging into a time travel adventure he’s not prepared for. His frustration boils over into a tense exchange with a young Jessica Jones who is trying to talk to him. After he blows her off, he’s confronted by Flash Thompson.

As the bully starts to verbally jab at him, older Peter arrives and dismisses the bully, but not before he lands a jab that is personal. As he walks away, older Peter gives his younger self some advice and you should note the outfit that he’s wearing and how familiar it is. It looks like Norman Osborn has escaped from custody and his face is plastered all over the papers. In his anger, he goes after Jameson and discovers a secret that puts present Spider-Man in danger.

As Teresa finds the answers that she’s looking for, both Spider-Men take down Mysterio before splitting up with the older sending the younger home. Jameson is furiously calling Peter and wanting he and Teresa to meet him. His mission to find the Tinkerer is bearing little and the attack on the Bugle has him spooked. Unfortunately, young Peter Parker finds that there is something ominous waiting for him at home and his adventures with time traveling future friends might end before they begin.

The first thing I want to say about this issue is that there are consequences to the actions that the three of them are taking. They might not mean anything once they leave, but it will interesting to see how they play out in the present. I actually found myself legitimately worried about what an exposed and insane Norman Osborn would do and I was not surprised with the result. This is a great story with a lot of tension and I really want to see where it goes next.
