Deron GenerallyWe finally find out who will be the man behind the mask in the upcoming live action Star Wars series coming to Disney+.
According to multiple sources including Collider and The Hollywood Reporter, actor Pedro Pascal will take the lead role in the upcoming series produced and written by Iron Man director Jon Favreau.
The series will take place between the events at the end of Return of the Jedi and before The Force Awakens and will chronicle “the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.”
Pascal is known for his breakout role in HBO’s hit series Game of Thrones. He has gone on to Star in feature films like Kingsman: The Golden Circle as well as the upcoming Wonder Woman 84. He can also be seen in a leading role in the upcoming Narcos: Mexico opposite Michael Pena.
The Mandalorian is set to debut on Disney+ in 2019.
