Paramount Pictures is bringing another Broadway musical to the big screen.

According to Deadline, Paramount Pictures is set to adapt the hit Broadway musical Spamalot based on the comedy Monty Python and the Holy Grail to the big screen. The film was originally set at Fox but went to Paramount after Disney lost interest in the project.

The film will be written by Python alum Eric Idle who will be writing the music along with John DuPrez. Casey Nicholow, choerographer for the Broadway show, will direct the film version. Nicholow’s credits include Book of Mormon, Aladdin, Mean Girls, The Prom, The Drowsy Chaperone and Something Rotten!
