The Daywalker is set to make his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and it looks like Marvel Studios has found a director to helm the upcoming reboot of the Blade franchise.

According to Deadline, director Bassam Tariq has been tapped by Marvel Studios to direct the Blade film which will star Academy Award winner Mahershala Ali in the lead. While Deadline is reporting that the deal is not complete, Marvel had no comment at the time of publication which is usually an indication that the Deadline source is correct.
