With news that Marvel Studios is looking for someone to take on the role of attorney Jennifer Walters aka She-Hulk, MCU fans have been speculating about whether or not we’ll see her cousin Bruce Banner in the upcoming Disney Plus series.

Mark Ruffalo, who plays the green-skinned Avenger on the big screen, teased to audiences at C2E2 in Chicago that he is in the preliminary phases of having his Marvel Cinematic Universe character make an appearance in the upcoming She-Hulk live action series. The spin-off series is expected to debut in 2022.

Banner’s Hulk is connected to Jennifer’s transformation into She-Hulk via a blood transfusion he gives to his cousin when she is critically wounded. There is no word on how big a role Banner would play in the series or the extent of Ruffalo’s involvement.
