Key and Peele will lend their voices to the lead characters, a pair of scheming demon brothers. The story is based on an original idea from Selick, who is also working with Joe and Anthony Russo’s (Avengers Infinity War) AGBO company on developing a television adaptation of the video game Little Nightmares. Selick is writing the script with Jordan Peele and Clay McLeod Chapman. Simon and Schuster will also be publishing a book based on the characters around the time of the film’s release.

This will be the duo’s first collaboration since 2016’s action comedy Keanu and Peele’s successful and critically acclaimed first film Get Out. Jordan Peele is currently working on a reboot of the science fiction anthology series The Twilight Zone. Keegan-Michael Key can next be seen in Shane Black’s The Predator and lending his voice to Disney’s live action adaptation of The Lion King.
