The Rundown: As war rages across Asgard, the architect of it is revealed.

Jane has traveled to a new and dangerous world to find Thor just in time for him to be murdered in front of her. At the same time, young Thor finds Jane in the midst of her cancer. The two reunite and discover the power and danger of the place known as Liveworld as well as the power of its ruler, the Dreamqueen. A power that is not ready for the heroes to depart.

At the same time, the war on Asgard continues with the forces of the realm doing their best to survive the day, but Enchantress’ schemes and Tyr’s treachery unleash a force on the realm that even Sif fears. A force that will lay waste to the world in order to fuel the power of the entity behind the attack. An entity that Tyr will welcome into the realm of Asgard.

The Story: Gronbekk delivers great drama throughout the story. I really enjoy how the drama and tension are split between the Jane/Thor story and the war on Asgard. The pace is fantastic and I really enjoyed the reveals in the story as well as where the action leads. The plot comes to a brilliant cliffhanger that reveals a familiar face that I wasn’t expecting.

The Art: Dowling offers some great, character focused art that emphasizes and enhances the emotional elements of the story.
