The Rundown: Pranky needs help from another resident as things on Hyde Street get serious.

The dark fortune teller of Hyde Street finds herself preparing to make a deal with a new visitor when something happens that interrupts her plans and sends her on a mission. At the same time, Pranky confronts Mr. X-Ray because he cannot remove the werewolf mask and the mask is turning him into the creature he was wearing.
Unfortunately, X-Ray doesn’t have a way to remove the mask even after being threatened so he takes Pranky to someone who might be able to help him at Hyde Street hospital. Pranky and X-ray find themselves in the blood soaked operating room of Doctor Ego who believes that he can help Pranky by letting him see his own sins through X-Ray’s special glasses. That same night, the fortune teller pays a desperate visit to the home of the Matinee Monster.
The Story: Johns creates an entertaining story in this issue. Events in the issue are heating up and I continue to enjoy the mystery being created in this series. Johns continues to create an interesting and compelling dark world in this issue and the interpersonal conflicts between the residents keep me engaged. The issue ends on an intriguing cliffhanger that makes me excited to see what happens next.
The Art: Reis creates beautifully detailed and dynamic art throughout the issue. I love the character designs and both Miki and Anderson brilliantly enhance the exciting visuals.
