The Rundown: Pranky goes after another resident of Hyde Street and he might live to regret it.

Pranky decides to forgo looking for his next victim on Hyde Street and take on a bigger challenge, a fellow resident named the Matinee Monster. Taking his weapons and traps with him, Pranky decides to break into X-Ray’s office to steal something that will help a monster kill another monster. An item he fails to read the fine print on.

Moving into the woods, Pranky finds a man lost within it and dismisses him as he continues his hunt. After the man returns, Pranky decides to use him as bait. When the Matinee Monster arrives, he and Pranky begin to battle. As Pranky discovers what his bait actually did, he turns his attention to him to punish him for his crimes.

The Story: Johns crafts a dark, thrilling and thoroughly entertaining story in this issue. I continue to enjoy the world of this story and the mysteries within Hyde Street. The characters continue to intrigue me and their purpose on Hyde Street engages me issue after issue. I like the dark turns this issue takes and how it resolves in the end while teasing another conflict to come.

The Art: Reis and Miki deliver beautifully detailed and visually striking art throughout the issue. I love the visuals and the dark style of the imagery.
