On Krakoa, a group of mutants are brought together for a special purpose for the good of the community. Using their unique gifts, they collectively resurrect the X-Men strike team that perished ending the threat of Master Mold.

This is one of the secrets that Charles has been keeping from the world. Magneto explains the secondary function of Cerebro and how it connects to this event and Charles meets with Emma to see the dream of Krakoa’s recognition by the world come to fruition. In the aftermath of the vote, a new day dawns for mutants. A day that begins with a meeting of old enemies and new allies.

The Story: Hickman blows me away again with everything in this issue. From start to finish, this story captured my imagination with the twists that it takes and the reveals that I could not have imagined. The story goes places that are exhilarating to witness and there is no predicting what can or will happen next with both the story and the characters. The new dynamic created in this issue shows that there are endless possibilities to what Hickman can do next.

The Art: Pepe Larraz’s art is absolutely beautiful. Everything is full of glorious details and the visual style of the characters is amazing.
