Created by Simon Evans and Phin Glynn, the lockdown comedy Staged will feature Tennant and Sheen as a pair of furloughed actors from a West End theater production during the coronavirus pandemic. The series will follow the cast as they try to keep rehearsals on track during the lockdown, with humorous and absurd results.

The series, which will consist of six, 15-minute episodes will also feature Georgia Tennant, Lucy Eaton, Anna Lundberg and some yet-to-be-confirmed guest stars. Tennant and Sheen are executive producers alongside Axel Kuschevatzky and Cindy Teperman for Infinity Hill, and Geoff Iles for GCB.
