The Rundown: The team tracks down the pirate who took Phoebe’s friend battling ghost pirates along the way.

The Ghostbusters find themselves fighting their way through the streets of Manhattan as they are chased by a ghost ship and its pirate crew. At the same time, Sammy tries to convince Captain Kidd that even though they are a descendant, they are not the child he is looking for.

Things come to a head when the Ghostbusters arrive and enter the ghost building only to find themselves turned into pirates with proton swords. As they battle their way to the Captain, Lucky and Ray stay behind with a plan to bring the pirate down for good.

The Story: Booher brings this story to a fun, thoughtful and satisfying conclusion with moments of humor and great heart mixed with the action and thrills. At the heart of the story is the connection between a parent and child and how that parent has to navigate a change in their child that he is unsure how to engage with. Those elements add some great moments to the story as the rest of the team continues to gel as a family unit. A truly fun and entertaining conclusion.

The Art: Or delivers some great visual thrills throughout the issue. The imagery is beautifully detailed and matches the fun tone of the story.
