The Rundown: Trevor’s time with Lucky is interrupted by a giant kraken ghost.

Trevor finally gets some alone time with Lucky and decides to take her to the Statue of Liberty right before a giant ghost kraken attacks the monument. As the pair rush to escape, they attempt to call the firehouse, but Callie and Gary have their own problems trying to get the equipment repaired. After getting a visit from Sammy’s father, Callie discovers that the pair are at Ray’s and call her in before heading to the statue to help.

Callie and Sammy discover more about Sammy’s family, the sword and their connection to Captain Kidd. As the Ghostbusters fight the kraken without her, things get more dangerous as they discover a fleet of ghost pirate ships heading towards the city.

The Story: Booher crafts a fun, thrilling adventure in this issue. The story has some great moments for all of the characters and I love the moments of humor throughout the story. There are some interesting and entertaining conflicts within the story and I am enjoying the buildup of both the story elements and the growing threat.

The Art: Aviv Or delivers some great art throughout the issue. I love the art style of the story and how the imagery matches the style and tone of the plot and the world of Ghostbusters.
