Demons are being targeted by the king of Hell, Johnny Blaze, and he makes no distinction about where and how he takes them.

When a man is burned to death in his apartment, Detective Dolan goes to see the man who runs the local bar he frequented, Danny Ketch. After trying to convince her that he do it, a call from the harbor sends her into action. Blaze has returned and is killing demons all over a luxury yacht. With civilians caught in the melee, Danny springs into action only to find himself locked into battle with Blaze.

A battle that could prove to be Danny’s last.

The Story: A brutal, intense and satisfying follow up to the first issue, Ed Brisson increases the action and stakes. Not only is the story engaging, but it plays out in ways that left me wanting more. The dynamic between Johnny and Danny is tense and electric. I loved seeing them clash with each other and Brisson brilliantly closes out the issue with an awesome cliffhanger moment that made me want to read the next issue right away.

The Art: All of the artists bring amazing visuals to each page. From the fights to the fire, everything looked alive and full of energy.
