The Rundown: Gehenna fights for her life while the assassin goes looking for backup.
Gehenna finds herself facing off against the self-proclaimed superhero known as Public Defender. As she fights for her life, the kid with her becomes more of a liability distracting her so she doesn’t kill his hero. Gehenna has to fight her way through enormous pain to find a way to stop the hero and barely survives the encounter.
At the same time, the assassin decides that she needs some help in order to complete her mission. She pays a visit to her boss who is making some managerial changes in her organization at the barrel of a gun. She decides to give her a force to bring down Gehenna and the kid as Gehenna goes looking for guns.
The Story: Kindlon delivers a fun, entertaining story in this issue. The issue is filled with great action and suspense and I love the progression of the fight and how intense it gets. The characters continue to be interesting as well and I love the split in the story between Gehenna and the assassin as well as the mystery behind her. I look forward to seeing what happens next.
The Art: Rosenzweig crafts some beautifully detailed and visually thrilling art throughout the issue. I love the action and how thrilling the fight is from start to finish.
