According to Deadline, actress Indira Varma will be joining the cast for the upcoming Obi Wan series starring Ewan McGregor as Jedi master Obi Wan Kenobi. The prequel series will also feature the return of Hayden Christiansen as Anakin Skywalker aka Darth Wader. Deborah Chow, who directed multiple episodes of The Mandalorian, will direct the series that takes place between the events of Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope.
Nothing has been reported about Varma’s role in the series.
Indira Varma is known for her roles in series like Game of Thrones, Carnival Row, Rome and Luther as well as films like Bride & Prejudice and Anna. She recently starred in the ABC series For Life as well as the film Crisis.
