The Rundown: Elsie and the others work to find a way into some possible sanctuary.

Gigi continues to deal with the fallout of the cat’s actions in the old woman’s home and what they had to do there to survive. As she takes a quiet moment to herself, Lucky gives her some words of encouragement before she rejoins the others to listen to the rest of Elsie’s plan to get them into the abandoned pet supply store.
As she lays out the plan, the cats make the dangerous trek to cross the city in the middle of a storm across power lines. As they make the perilous journey filled with danger including infected roaming the streets, they find their way inside, but discover quickly that they are not alone.
The Story: Fleecs delivers a thrilling adventure in this issue. I love the buildup of suspense throughout the issue and how its plot reminds me of one of my favorite George Romero zombie movies Dawn of the Dead. There are wonderful thrills throughout and I continue to love both the interpersonal conflict and the drama between the characters. The final moments of the issue are wonderfully scary and the final reveal makes me excited to see what happens next.
The Art: Forstner and Rodriguez create some beautiful atmosphere with the art in this issue. I love the visuals and how immersive the art is on every page.
