Knowing the kind of man Deadpool is, Domino does her best to both de-escalate the situation and defuse Wade. Unfortunately, Widow and Atlas Bear don’t take the threat of Deadpool seriously and attack. They hold their own against the merc with a mouth, but Neena knows that when his mouth stops, the killing begins.

Inez steps in to stop Deadpool and with all the damage he’s taking, he decides it’s time to take off the kid gloves and put the women down permanently. Domino tries a desperate ploy to stop him and finds out that he’s been hired by the most unlikely person they could think of and when they return to their hunt for the missing scientist and the artifact, that unlikely person makes his next move to stop them.

Not only does Gail Simone present an entertaining foil for Domino’s team in Deadpool, but the reveal of who hired him and is pulling the strings to stop them is an interesting and welcome surprise. The dialogue is amazing and all of the character interactions are fun to experience. Both the story and action are well done. I was not expecting the story to go in this direction and I can’t wait to see where it goes next.

David Baldeon’s art is stunning. Everything looks full of action, motion and detail. The action is phenomenal and Baldeon’s style is perfect for this series and the character.
