The Rundown: Tracy continues his investigation into the Blank as the killer hunts its next victim.

Dick confronts Breathless after he is told that Pat might be the serial killer known as the Blank. After learning that there is a reason why his friend is innocent, Tracy goes back to the station to find him and discovers that he is with Tess. As the three of them go over what they know and a dark clue left at the station, Tracy learns who the killer’s next victim will be.
Racing to the home of the former Chief of Police, they arrive too late to stop his murder as well as catching the Blank. Reeling from more violence, Tracy discovers he knows more about the killer than he realized and begins a plan to flush them out, but Tracy might be putting a target on his own back.
The Story: Segura and Moreci ramp up the intensity and paranoia in this new issue. The stakes continue to rise as Tracy deals with tension both in his investigation and in his relationships with his friends. I continue to love the film noir aesthetic of the series and this issue particularly. I love hardboiled detective stories and Dick Tracy deftly scratches that particular itch.
The Art: Borges delivers fantastic imagery throughout the issue. From the character designs to the blistering action, I love the visual choices being made and how they enhance the emotion of the scenes.
