The Rundown: Vita and Charlie get closer while the threat to them gets closer still.

Charlie has decided that the best way to get to know Vita is in the biblical sense. While the two get together on their way to Arizona, the assassin chasing them gets closer to the pair, but refuses to engage while she gathers more info.

A decision that angers the people that hired her.

As the chase continues, we learn more about the mystery assassin known as Circe including her former life and the events that shaped her into the killer she is. Events that tie into the social media dreamworld that Charlie seems to revel in. At the same time, Charlie continues to avoid giving details about how she became a target of Reapr while Vita tells her the events that led her to become a bodyguard for hire.

The Story: Christopher Sabela moves the story forward in some interesting and entertaining ways. Learning more about Vita’s past and the mysterious Circe adds some engaging character development to the story and the added fact that Charlie continues to remain elusive about why she is the target of the Reapr campaign keeps the overall mystery of the story going. I like the kinetic energy of this issue and how it seems constantly on the move like the characters. This series continues to be a fun one and I am anxious to see where this story goes next.

The Art: Stein and Brandt bring some beautiful and fun visuals to this issue. The characters look fantastic and the art builds on the moving pace of the story with visuals that have the feel of motion and energy.
