The Rundown: The Planeteers must find a way to locate Gaia, but Plunder has someone on their tail.

Captain Planet emerges to protect the Planeteers and the people from an attack from Duke Nukem and his forces. When the Planeteers discover they no longer have their powers, Ma Ti convinces them that they ca still help and Captain Planet uses a desperate play to give them all time to escape. After Captain Planet disperses and returns the kid’s powers back, they blend into the city to find a way to locate and rescue Gaia.
Gi finds a scientist that could possibly help them, Dr. Blight. After finding the scientist, they ask for her help, but don’t realize that she is working for Plunder. When Nukem and his forces arrive, the Planeteers have to rely on their own powers to help them, but the constant danger might be too much for one of them to deal with.
The Story: Pepose crafts a thrilling, dark and action packed adventure in this issue. I love seeing the characters clash with each other and having them on the run. I love the espionage aspects of the story as well as the bigger conspiracy at play throughout the series. There is great action throughout the story and Pepose is hinting at some big things to come for both the characters and their world.
The Art: Casallos delivers beautiful art throughout the issue. The visuals are stunning, brilliantly detailed and engaging.
