The Rundown: An assasination attempt will split Sam’s team and could lead to bigger problems for the world.

In the wake of the disastrous mission in Wakanda, Sam Wilson finds himself at the United Nations witnessing a speech from the newly elected prime minister of Wakanda’s neighboring nation Mohannda. A country dealing with the aftermath of its colonial past and the economic strife that it caused.

Steering clear of the politics, Sam attempts to do his job of keeping the prime minister safe, but an attack on the UN forces them to flee with Falcon staying behind. A plan that will leave Falcon down, the prime minister dead and the country of Mohannda preparing for civil war with a familiar face at the center of the conflict.

The Story: Onyebuchi crafts a thrilling and engaging political thriller in this issue. It’s fast paced and filled with action throughout, but also takes the time to build intrigue and conflict to keep the reader interested in the story and its ramifications. I love the rising conflict within the story and the stakes for the characters.

The Art: Guara delivers some beautifully stylish and thrilling art throughout the issue. The visuals are fun and capture the tense tone of the story.
