Brad Pitt’s next film will have him traveling to the stars on a dangerous mission in Ad Astra from 20th Century Fox.

Astronaut Roy McBride (Brad Pitt) travels to the outer edges of the solar system to find his missing father and unravel a mystery that threatens the survival of our planet. His journey will uncover secrets that challenge the nature of human existence and our place in the cosmos.

Ad Astra stars Brad Pitt, Tommy Lee Jones, Ruth Negga, Liv Tyler and Donald Sutherland. The screenplay is by James Gray & Ethan Gross and directed by James Gray.

Ad Astra will take to the stars September 20th.
