The Rundown: With the Avengers away, the Agents of Wakanda are all that stand between a dragon invasion and Avengers Mountain.

A guilty Gorilla Man continues to drown his sorrows in alcohol and unfortunately that will keep the head of security of Avengers mountain from being ready when an army of giant dragons attack. With all of the Avengers away, a small team of Agents of Wakanda are all the defense the mountain has as Broo tries to determine what the dragons want before they tear the mountain apart.

At the same time, T’Challa and Okoye are on a diplomatic mission to Asgard and both find the surroundings nice, but want to know what is happening back home. The fight starts to take an interesting turn when the language of the dragons is translated and Broo discovers the reason the dragons are attacking and who they have come for.

The Story: A thoroughly enjoyable story from start to finish. Jim Zub throws the reader into the action and doesn’t let up as the tension and thrills grow with each page. There is something enjoyable about the unique team dynamics with this group and I like seeing those relationships grow and evolve as they work together. I like that the team is front and center while Black Panther and Okoye are away and the subplot on Asgard gives an engaging balance to the issue. I really enjoyed this story and was both surprised and amused by the cliffhanger at the end.

The Art: Lan Medina does some fantastic work with the art in this issue. The art captures the thrills of the action perfectly and the battle scenes look awesome. Medina captures the frenetic pace of the fight and the angles put the reader into the action itself.
