The Rundown: The family makes a final strike against the growing threat beneath the town, but this could be the start of a bigger problem for everyone.

The Sangeyre’s and their allies are in a pitched battle against the more dangerous jinoo and Meriah makes the decision to call in reinforcements to do the one thing they’ve been trying to avoid, killing the jinoo which would also mean killing the hosts. Left with few choices and a growing danger from the evolved monsters, the family rallies with their allies to take the creature down once and for all and deal with the consequences later.

In the aftermath, the family is called to the White House to meet with the president and tell him what they discovered. Unfortunately, his reaction is not what they expected and they are unaware of the fact that he has been threatened by someone who thinks his move towards Civil Rights will elicit a more dangerous response.

The Story: Walker and Brown craft a thrilling, suspenseful and entertaining story in this issue. There is great action throughout the story and a great amount of tension that kept me engaged with every moment. I love diving into this world and how brilliantly complex it is while also giving me a fantastic adventure to experience with each issue. I love the conclusion of this arc and how it teases something big to come from this world and these characters.

The Art: Greene delivers complex, brilliantly detailed and visually dynamic art throughout the issue. I loved every page and panel.
