Deron GenerallyThe third installment of the Bill and Ted franchise continues to come together and now there is news that the upcoming film has found its antagonist.
According to an exclusive in The Hollywood Reporter, actor Anthony Carrigan has been cast in the role of the villain in the upcoming Bill and Ted Face the Music. There are no details on the character as of this reporting, but Carrigan has been on a career high recently with his roles in series like The Flash, Gotham and his role as gangster NoHo Hank in the HBO series Barry.
Carrigan will be joining the returning Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves along with William Sadler, Samara Weaving, Brigette Lundy-Paine and Scott Mescudi (aka Kid Cudi). Original Bill and Ted screenwriters Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon have written the new film which will be directed by Galaxy Quest director Dean Parisot.
Bill and Ted Face the Music is set to be released August 21, 2020.
