The Rundown: Harley finally confronts the truth about her past as the final showdown with the producer looms.

In the wake of a personal tragedy, Harley Quinn sits in the rubble of her home and remembers someone that she lost. Someone that helped her remember who she was outside of being the sidekick of the Joker. As Montoya and the others try to get her to get back into the case of the Producer before the Gotham Film Festival, Harley decides that she needs to strike out on her own to bring them both down. But she’s going to need some help.

After recovering a gift left for her by Bruce, Harley takes to the streets to sneak into the film festival to stop the Producer’s plans. Unfortunately, the villain has plans for Harley and his plan will lead to both revelation and tragedy.

The Story: Collins does a good job of bringing this arc to a close with some great character moments and plotting. Harley Quinn evolves as a character by facing her trauma and her past and that personal journey makes the story entertaining. The dialogue feels natural and I enjoy how the plot progresses even if there are some unanswered questions at the end of the story. A great conclusion that leaves the door open for more stories.

The Art: Scalera does a great job with the art in this issue. The visuals are crisp, clean and filled with energy. There are beautiful details throughout and the style works for the tone of the story and its characters.
