The Rundown: The hunt for Vandal Savage and a time traveling egg will take the Dark Knight to the old west.
Batman and Hal Jordan find themselves in the crosshairs of Jonah Hex. After revealing some interesting information to the lawman, he believes their story and takes them to a local town.
After a force mysteriously removes Hal from the adventure, Batman and Hex are confronted by Savage and a pack of Ninjas. When the egg reacts again, the result might be the end of Batman.
The Story: The plot and the action in this issue are getting more interesting. Brian Michel Bendis is taking this story in some new directions and I want to see where it goes. The dialogue continues to try a little too hard and is not as clever as it is trying to be, but the story is solid and engaging.
The Art: Nick Derington is offering some impressive visuals in this issue. The art is expressive, detailed and exciting.
