The Rundown: Batman, Robin and Superman must find a way to save Bizarro World from a virus making everyone rational.

Batman, Superman and Robin find themselves in the twisted cave of Bizarro Batman as he and Bizarro tell the trio about the virus that is ravaging the planet. A virus that is making the inhabitants unusually rational. As Batman agrees to help his bizarre counterpart, an attack from Bizarro Brainiac calls the Supermen away as the creature is enlarging the city.

Batman and Robin follow Bizarro Batman to a meeting with Bizarro Lex Luthor and they discover that an alien explorer crashed on the planet and discovered something about it that caused it to release the virus, but prevented him from creating a cure.

The Story: Waid crafts a fun, engaging and entertaining story that leans heavily into the absurdity of Bizarro World in fun and interesting ways. I really enjoyed the story and how Robin acts as the reader who is learning about this strange world and asking the questions we would in his place. There is some great action in the story and I love the progression of the suspense and where the cliffhanger ending leaves the characters.

The Art: Gutierrez delivers stunning art throughout the issue. I love the visual style and how beautifully detailed the pages and panels are.
