The Rundown: Things get more dangerous for the Dark Knight in Gotham as he becomes a public enemy.

With Saint’s backing, the mayor has authorized the use of his Peacekeeper program and their first target is the Unsanity Collective. With Molly in their crosshairs, the young woman shows she has some tricks up her sleeves. With the Peacekeepers authorized to kill, Batman and his allies step in to stop a slaughter, but it puts the vigilante in the crosshairs of the law and public opinion.

Ghost-Maker continues his quest to bring down a group of villains as another tells of his interactions with the vigilante and why no one should underestimate him.

The Story: James Tynion IV ramps up the action and intrigue in this issue. There is a lot of great action throughout the story and I love the twists in the plot. Things are becoming a lot more intense for Batman in this arc and the antagonists are delightfully twisted on their own. The Ghost Maker story is compelling as well and I enjoy the evolving legend of the character through the eyes of his enemies.

The Art: Jimenez has a brilliant eye for both detail and movement in the Batman story. There is an energy to the visuals that helps drive the story forward. Lopez Ortiz has does some great work with the Ghost Maker story. The visual style of the story is great and I love the anime influences.
