The Rundown: A group of powerful beings descend on a small town and their actions move one woman to revenge.

On a quiet day years ago, a group of five people descend from the mountain to the small town below. Dressed only in surgical scrubs, the town will discover quickly that there is something strange and powerful about these newcomers. Years later, a young woman prepares herself for a fight. Gathering her weapons and her wits, Hannah heads into town at the same time a member of the five decides to get something to eat.

After watching the mystery woman, she gets up to leave and Hannah decides to take her prisoner. After reviving the woman, who calls herself Regan, the pair discuss what happened when she and her companions arrived. When a group of heavily armed men go looking for them, Regan displays an unusual power. One that will not only lead to the two of them teaming up, but will also get the attention of the other four who want Regan back.

The Story: Bunn immediately hooked me with the premise and characters of this story. The first page was brilliantly done and the rest of the issue does a great job of establishing the conflicts, characters and mystery. I was impressed with everything in this issue and cannot wait to see where this story goes and what directions is takes.

The Art: Scharf delivers some beautiful visuals throughout this issue. Every page is filled with great details and the characters look fantastic.
