Deron GenerallyThe anticipated sequel to Andy Muschietti’s adaptation of Stephen King’s IT is in full swing and Warner Brothers has released a photo of the adult cast of the upcoming IT: Chapter 2 to coincide with the production beginning.
In the picture we get our first looks at Jessica Chastain (Beverly Marsh), James McAvoy (Bill Denbrough), Isaiah Mustafa (Mike Hanlon), Jay Ryan (Ben Hanscom), James Ransone (Eddie Kasbrak), Bill Hader (Richie Tozier) and Andy Bean (Stan Uris).
Not pictured is Pennywise himself Bill Skarsgard who is returning to wreak havoc on the town of Derry.
In the novel, Pennywise’s return prompts Mike Hanlon to reunite his childhood friends who have all left Derry, separated and become successful adults. When they are prompted to return, they have to remember what happened that fateful summer as well as the bond they share if they are going to survive.
IT Chapter 2 is expected in theaters September 6, 2019.
