The Rundown: Calhoon and Khabrani discover more information about their victim and each other.

Calhoon is no closer to finding a suspect in the multiple murders happening in the town and the mayor is leaning on him with time running out before the town celebration. With leads drying up and more secrets being revealed, he and Khabrani head to the school to speak with one of the teachers who is also in the program.
The pair make their way to the circus and discover what happened to the evidence from their case. After getting into it with a group of tumblers, the two are knocked out and tied up with the mayor having to free the pair before booting them off the case. A move that will backfire as the pair decide to continue their investigation off the books.
The Story: Fillion and Corson continue to craft an entertaining and engaging mystery in this issue. I love that each issue includes backstory on a character that is either introduced or hinted at within the plot and each of those reveals pays off in interesting ways. There are some great character moments throughout the story and it will be interesting to see where the story goes next.
The Art: Lee creates some great visual moments throughout the issue. I really enjoy the visual style of this series and how the art captures the tone and mood of the story.
