The Rundown: Sarah Archer brings her desire for power and revenge to the people of Sleepy Hollow.

After committing murder, Sarah discovers not only how easy it is to do, but that she has been inspired to commit more. She also discovers a new way to keep an eye on her sister as she makes her life in Sleepy Hollow. She sends her spy to watch the woman and decides to take action when she sees that Mary might be moving on without her.

Sarah decides on the next part of her plan, but is interrupted by the cousin of her latest victim who wants revenge for his death. Revenge that will allow Sarah to finally embrace the evil inside her and the power of the Headless Horseman.

The Story: Dawson creates a dark, thrilling story in this issue. The story continues to take some interesting twists and turns as Sarah transitions from pleading for her soul to justifying her actions and it creates some really intriguing moments that engaged me as a reader. Her psychological descent is done well and every action that she takes and the consequences it brings makes me interested in seeing what happens next.

The Art: Jaro crafts some beautifully detailed and visually exciting art throughout the issue. The violence and gore are handled with a visual flair that I really enjoyed.
