The Rundown: Slade returns to the bug world and this time he’s not alone.

It’s been months since Slade was shrunk down by the power of the amulet and had to survive the world of bugs in his own back yard. Unfortunately, his return to the world has its own issues especially with the bugs who constantly stay with him for protection and how he is now ostracized from his classmates because of it. At the same time, his brother has become more protective after surviving an attack by bug forces.

Slade finds himself being confronted by his new neighbors who seem interested in his strange connection to the bugs. They also notice that Slade is being followed by a drone connected to a nearby truck and a man who seems to know more than he’s telling before something happens that transports Slade back to the world of bugs along with his new neighbors, his brother and the exterminator who’s been watching him.

The Story: Aaron crafts a fantastic return to this world with a story filled with interesting characters and circumstances. I really enjoyed the story in this issue and how it connects to the first arc and its cliffhanger. There are some great moments throughout the story for Slade and I like the addition of the new characters and what they will mean for the story and adventure to come.

The Art: Asrar creates some beautifully detailed and visually exciting art throughout the issue. I love the visual style and the character designs are fantastic.
