The Rundown: Sara fights to free Aphrodite.

Sara and Jake are attacked by Aphrodite and her robotic siblings while the Chairwoman looks on and plots to take the Witchblade from Sara. As the battle commences, Sara dives into the power within her to keep her and her partner alive.

Sara uses the power of the Witchblade to remove the Chairwoman from her mechanized suit and forces her to free Aphrodite and the others from her control. A move that will change her relationship with Aphrodite and set in motion a series of events that Sara might not be prepared for.

The Story: There was a lot of great action throughout the issue and I liked the way the story leaves things open for more confrontations with the Chairwoman and Aphrodite in the future. The story is serviceable in bringing the arc to a conclusion, but nothing particularly interesting is added to either the lore or the character stories.

The Art: Cafaro creates some great art in the issue. I really love the character designs and look forward to seeing more.
