The Rundown: Noa and D must face fear in order to get to the next world they need to explore.

Noa and D make their way into the woods looking for the house of an Epic who has cut himself off from society. After finding the house, D is surprised that Noa seems to have no fears as he is jumpy at the atmosphere and the scares from the Epic known as Vincent.
As the pair discuss what they are looking for, Vincent reveals more about not only why he stays away from the world, but also why he has agreed to help them. He forces Noa to confront a long buried fear that she suppresses to allow them into the world of horror where they discover that the famous monster they have come to find has been murdered by something else.
The Story: Kudranski creates an engaging, entertaining story in this issue. I am grateful that this story is back and look forward to seeing where the investigation goes. There is a great mystery building in this issue and I love the exploration of not only the world of Epics, but also Noa personally. The story ends with a great cliffhanger that makes me excited to see what happens next.
The Art: Kudranski creates beautifully detailed art throughout the issue. I love the visuals and how perfectly they capture the tone and mood of the story.
