The Rundown: After her father is taken, Violet follows a voice to a shocking discovery.

Violet’s father is taken to Pleasanton where the men who take him discover what happens when they fail their leader. He demands that they return to where they found him and bring back someone named Walter. As they load up to head back, Violet continues to hear the voice calling to her and goes looking for it.
After following the voice, she finds another ghost in the tunnels before making her way deeper into them and discovering that this area has been used for something truly heinous. She finds Walter tied to a bed and blindfolded. After freeing him, the pair find themselves on the run before something comes over Walter and he warns Violet that something is coming.
The Story: Harms creates fantastic tension throughout this issue. I continue to enjoy the world of this story and how Harms is creating interesting mysteries within the plot that I want to see explored. There is great suspense in the issue with Violet and Walter and I look forward to seeing where this story goes next.
The Art: Mavinga crafts beautifully detailed and visually stunning art throughout the issue. I love the colors by Loughridge and how they enhance the imagery.
