The Rundown: Voyager fights for a chance to escape fluidic space and discovers a darker plan for them in the process.

Voyager is under attack by Species 8472 and their armor and shields are failing. As the skeleton crew works on creating the nano-probe weapons they need to defend themselves, Seven and the away team work with the disconnected Borg to fix their deflector array in an attempt to return home.
Things continue to get worse for the Voyager crew as their enemy launches an attack against the Borg cube that will cause Janeway to surrender her ship as she and the remaining crew are taken by Species 8472 and shown the familiar faces of other prisoners they have captured in their plan.
The Story: Susan and Tilly Bridges pull out all the stops with the action and thrills in this issue. A thoroughly fun and exciting adventure that features some great character moments. I love the suspense of Tuvok’s condition and the fragile confrontations with the Voyager crew and Species 8472. The story culminates in an unexpected moment for Janeway that works perfectly with the story and the character. I really enjoyed the cliffhanger in this issue and look forward to seeing what’s next.
The Art: Hernandez creates some beautifully detailed art throughout the issue. The visuals are gorgeous and capture the action and thrills of the story perfectly.
